Honored to be added to Singh-Ray Filters list of top photographers

Recently I was added to Singh-Ray’s list of top pros who use Singh-Ray Filters. It was quite an honor to be included in such a list that mentions some of the best photographers out there.

Check out the bio page that they added about me and view some of the photos I created using their filters here.

As of this writing I have been using their filters exclusively for over 10 years and I highly recommend them. Singh-Ray has also started sponsoring my photo workshops and has provided me with a code for my students that saves them 10% off their filter purchases.

If you have taken one of my workshops before, contact me for the code. If you are taking one of my workshops in the future you will be receiving it in my workshop newsletters.

Balancing Act – Zion National Park Utah

Normally a crystal clear river, after a weekend storm in Zion National Park the Virgin River turned a beautiful chocolate brown and was running fast.

While hiking along the river I found this rock cairn in the middle of it. By both photographing on an overcast day and using my Singh-Ray Vari-N-Duo thin-ring polarizing variable neutral density filter, I was able to slow down my shutter speed long enough to give the river a smooth and silky look.

Photo Details:

Photographed with a Canon 5D Mark II and Canon 24-70mm lens and a Singh-Ray Vari-N-Duo thin-ring polarizing variable neutral density filter with a 25 second exposure at f14.
