On the heels of me announcing some fantastic savings later this coming week for the upcoming Holiday Season, I thought it would be great to kick off the savings NOW by offering something that has only been available at my art shows and is not available anywhere else – my Aluminum Mini’s.
Special Offer has been extended and now expires
at 11.59pm on December 24, 2013.
Aluminum Mini’s can make great wall groupings.
I started selling my Aluminum Mini’s at art festivals earlier in the year and they became instantly popular. You can not purchase them online, and so far the only way to order one has been in person at one of my art festivals. But these Aluminum Mini’s make such great gifts I had to make them available for online purchase for a limited time.
A few weeks ago it was peak fall foliage in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains outside of Santa Fe, New Mexico and I spent a few mornings photographing in the area.

I photographed this scene on a chilly but crystal clear morning. In this particular aspen grove all of the leaves were a bright golden yellow which certainly stood out from the deep blue sky. I was looking for a shot a little different from the traditional “lay-on-the-ground-and-look-up” shot. So I stood at the edge of the grove instead of inside it and I centered my composition on the tallest tree.
This is only my second full summer here in Santa Fe, New Mexico and I have recently found a new photo playground – up in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains.
I first scouted the area the other week, then brought our photography workshop students up there for a sunrise shoot. A few days following the photo workshop I returned to spend more time photographing.
Normally I am not a fan of crystal clear blue skies but actually prefer it in this image. I love the way the blue sky contrasts against the bright orange rocks. It does a perfect job of sharing with you the feeling I had during that crisp, cold morning with temps below freezing and the warmth that suddenly came from those peaks basking in sunlight.
This crate of old soda bottles was photographed in Northern New Mexico in a old fountain drink type of trailer. These old glass soda bottles feature Dr Pepper, Sunkist, and Coca Cola with a rusty old Pepsi sign in the background.
